Diary  · 30. June 2024
=日本語は後に続く= June was a mixed experience. The first half of the month I was sluggish and thought it was just a misplaced muscle, but after 10 days it didn't get better and it became hard to lie on my side and I began to suspect it was internal organs. I went to a clinic that was open on weekends, and for the time being, the urine test was clear. I made an appointment for an ultrasound and was told to wait. In Canada, it is common that you can't get an examination or a doctor...
Diary  · 01. June 2024
=日本語は後に続く= It was already June. On Friday, May 10, my husband and I, knowing that the Northern Lights could be seen in various places, went for a walk at around 10:30 p.m. We walked around looking up and down, but couldn't see it. I had to do something the next morning, so I gave up and went to bed. The next morning, I received a message from a friend at 11:30 p.m. with the above photo, “Aurora Borealis is out now. The picture was taken very well even though it was taken...

Our vacation in Cancun! (メキシコ休暇)
(日本語は後に続く) I went to Cancun, Mexico for a week's vacation. The direct flight was an easy 6 hours. It was also our 5th wedding anniversary trip. The white sand beach in front of our condo was emerald green to blue, the perfect environment! We had the luxury of watching the sunrise on the beach, doing yoga, spending time on the beach, and watching the sunset. English is spoken only in a limited number of places. We didn't understand a word of Spanish, so we just used English...
Diary  · 20. April 2024
=日本語は後に続く= Today we celebrate 5 years of wedding anniversary. Time really flies by. My parents both worked, my aunt and uncle took care of me, and I grew up as a key child. So I had a habit of doing everything by myself without asking others for help, so I felt that my husband's love was too heavy, and I was not good at doing things together or sharing things. (My husband is the youngest of six siblings.) Recently, I finally got used to asking for help. When I look back at the...

※日本語は後に続く Snowy winter scenery is beautiful, but I get excited when cherry blossoms start blooming. After all, Japanese people love cherry blossom viewing. There are some famous cherry blossom viewing spots in Vancouver, but I find the cherry blossoms that line the streets of residential areas to be surprisingly beautiful. I enjoy strolling around my neighborhood. I used to enjoy drinking the kombucha my husband made, but I researched and made kombucha jerky since new strains...

Yoga  · 16. February 2024
(日本語は後に続く) Valentine's Day in Vancouver was yesterday. I wanted to get a little surprise gift for my husband, so I ordered it from Amazon. My husband enjoys making kombucha, so it was something that would help him with that, but I was informed that there was a problem and that I would be refunded. I've had similar problems before, but I can't help this either. I am glad to know that the yoga lesson of not getting attached to things is helping me. “I can't believe I didn't get...
Diary  · 27. January 2024
*日本語は後に続く。 In Japan, as soon as Christmas is over, people put away the decorations and get ready for New Year's. Here, Christmas trees are put away around January 7, so I failed to post that I was in a hurry to see the Christmas tree decorated in West Vancouver on January 6. This beehive tree was very unique! You know that honey is very good for us , but quality is also important in Ayurveda. I found some Raw Honey on sale at my local Whole Food and have been taking a teaspoon...
Diary  · 30. December 2023
日本語は後に続く! Looking back on 2023, I had many experiences. First, my honeymoon! I traveled on a plane for the first time with my husband, and it was nice to get the COVID-19 relief so we could go out and play with ease like we used to. Mountain climbing and camping! I had an active summer. Husband started making kombucha, and when the new yeast was ready, he said, 'I'm having a baby.'" He is so happy. I remember making a hole in a shoji paper when I was a kid, but I never thought...
Diary  · 29. November 2023
(日本語は後に続く) My husband likes to shop at Costco. I don't like it so much, but sometimes we go together because it's easy to buy things that are quite expensive at regular supermarkets. We bought quite a bit of kombucha over the summer. However, through a friend's connection, she shared her kombucha scoby with me and my husband has started making homemade kombucha at home. The left side in the lower picture is the Scoby, and the right side is green tea, black tea, and sugar, and he...
