I really felt a sense of connection in 2025.
Although it was sad news, she found me through my website.
A long time ago, I lived in San Diego and stayed with a host family. She was one of my housemates at the time, and she contacted me to tell me that my host mother had passed away last year. I was shocked by the news, but I clearly remember how much she loved Halloween and Christmas. Her decorations for those holidays were always amazing.
I feel that I carry some of her energy within me, which is why I love celebrating these events. It felt like a meaningful coincidence when my former housemate told me that she has been a yoga practitioner for many years.
Substituting yoga classes has given me great opportunities to meet new yoga practitioners. One day, while I was working in my office, the doorbell rang. When I opened the door, it was one of
them, and we both smiled. She had come to purchase gift certificates.
Experiencing what I have always wanted has brought me a different kind of joy.
I’m looking forward to many new experiences in 2026.

ずっと以前、私はサンディエゴでホストファミリーと一緒に暮らしていました。彼女は当時のハウスメイトの一人で、去年ホストマザーが亡くなったことを知らせてくれました。その知らせを聞いたときはとても驚きましたが、ホストマザーがハロウィンやクリスマスをとても愛していて、家の飾りつけが本当に素晴らしかったことを今でもよく覚えています。
私は彼女のエネルギーを自分の中に受け継いでいるように感じていて、だからこそ今もこうしたイベントを楽しむのだと思います。さらに不思議なご縁だと感じたのは、その元ハウスメイトが長年ヨガを実践していると教えてくれたことでした。
代行でヨガクラスを担当することで、新しいヨガプラクティショナーの方々と出会う素晴らしい機会をいただいています。ある日、オフィスで仕事をしているとドアベルが鳴りました。ドアを開けると、そこに立っていたのはその中の一人で、私たちは自然と笑顔になりました。彼女はギフト券を購入しに来てくれたのです。
自分がずっと望んでいたことを実際に体験することで、これまでとは違う種類の喜びを感じています。
2026年も新しい多くの経験を楽しみにしています♪
